Emma’s Cottage Vineyard is a working farm with all its associated benefits, risks and restrictions. We have dust, grass, insects and animals, and a wonderful life on a vineyards with beautiful sunrises and gorgeous sunsets. There is also the other benefit of award winning wines made from our grapes.
The Hirer agrees that the Hirer and any of the Hirer’s party will not hold Emma’s Cottage Vineyard or any of its associated partners liable for any personal injury or property loss whilst on Emma’s Cottage Vineyard property located at 438 Wilderness Road, Lovedale, NSW. All activity engaged in whilst on the Emma’s Cottage Vineyard property, is at the Hirer and their party’s own risk.
Should the number in the party exceed that noted in this agreement below or stipulated by Emma’s Cottage Vineyard as the number of guests per cottage for the accommodation booked for your stay the return of your security deposit may be declined.
There is one single portable beds with full innerspring mattress ($50 per booking per bed with linen provided) and one portacot available ($10 per booking). We provide a towel and face washer for the baby but, please bring your own baby linen for the portacot as we find that baby sleeps better with familiar smells and, then so do you. The portacot is checked by management prior to and after each hire – in the event of the cot being damaged during a hire the full replacement cost will be charged to the hirer.
Any damage (or missing items) other than normal wear and tear to the property and its contents or lack of general cleanliness (dirt on floor, dirty dishes etc.) at the end of the hire will be notified to an Emma’s Cottage Vineyard staff member and will be paid for by the Hirer or deducted from the security deposit. If there are strong smells and/or strong cooking odours when you depart an additional fee to deodorise the cottage will be charged to your credit card. Where bed linen is damaged by fake tan or massage oils additional laundering costs may be charged to your credit card.
If for any reason that your room cannot be re-let after your departure due to damage, odorous smells from cooking or smoking in the room or damage to the property then you may be charged appropriate cleaning and loss of income charges.
There is a NO SMOKING policy inside the cottages at Emma’s Cottage Vineyard. If guests do smoke outside the cottage please place all butts into a disposable container and place in the bin. Do not discard butts on the ground. If in need of a disposable container please see the staff at the Cellar Door.
Should you use the BBQ, please ensure that you clean it prior to your check-out to avoid the cleaning charge. The cleaning products and brush you need for this are provided under the sink in your cottage or under the BBQ. Our cleaners charge $50 per BBQ for cleaning. If you find that you require replacements of the cleaning products please contact the Property Manager on 4998 7734.
Please dispose of all rubbish, including bottle tops, into the bins provided. Disposable nappies must be disposed into the bin outside the cottage and NOT in the kitchen or bathroom bins. Bottle tops have the potential to cause damage and/or injury to machinery and staff and guests at Emma’s Cottage Vineyard so we ask that you do not throw bottle tops onto the grass or into the vineyard. Please dispose of these in the bin provided.
Should, in the opinion of an Emma’s Cottage Vineyard staff member, the Hirer or any of the hirer’s party be found to be causing offence to other guests or Emma’s Cottage Vineyard staff, including loud music or voice activities, the hire will be immediately terminated and the Hirer and their party requested to leave the property. No refunds of hire fees will be given in this circumstance.
The pool is open during daylight hours and closes at 7pm. The pool is usually closed for cleaning from 8.30am to 9.00am and is closed for Winter from 1st May to 1st October. No food or drink to be taken into the pool enclosure. Should guests contaminate the pool with broken glass, then the cottage hirer will be liable for all costs associated with removal, cleaning and replacement of water. No jumping or diving. All children under the age of 15 years must be supervised at all times by an adult. Unsupervised children will be asked to leave the pool area. No infants in the pool (i.e., if not toilet trained) unless they are wearing swim nappies.
Check-in is from 3.00pm. Early check-in may be possible based on cottage availability and can be arranged by contacting the Property Manager on 02 4998 7734 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Please ensure you are ready to check out by 10.00am. Keys can be dropped to the Cellar Door before you leave OR, if the Cellar Door is not yet open, please leave the keys on the dining table in your accommodation or back in the key safe near the front door. If you would like a late check-out, this may be possible up until 2pm however it is dependent on incoming guests and must be arranged before 5pm the day before. Please liaise with the Cellar Door staff or the Property Manager if you would like a late check-out. Should guests who fails to check-out on time and where this impacts on the cleaning of the cottages guests may be charged a fee of $50 per hour for each hour or part thereof past the checkout time – this fee will be deducted from the security deposit pre-authorisation.
Pets are not allowed while staying at Emma’s Cottage Vineyard. The property is not fenced and many people and children can be wary of dogs they do not know. There are winery dogs onsite at Emma’s Cottage Vineyard and we ask that you do not feed them – no matter how hungry they look or how much they sit for their treat.
The security deposit is equal to one nights accommodation. Please be mindful of the conditions above. Your security deposit return or part thereof may be rejected if the above conditions are not observed. Where there is significant damage in the cottage which has occurred during your stay, you as the hirer, will be responsible for the repair costs and lost income.
A deposit of 50% of your total accommodation tariff is required on all bookings. The balance or full payment is required three weeks prior to arrival or at the time of booking whichever is less.
Should a booking be made using a credit card which is invalid, management reserves the right to cancel the booking without notice.
Extra guests are $50 per person per night.
All cancellation requests must be in writing e.g. Letter or email, and a receipt of cancellation issued.
If cancelled with 60 days or more notice, a refund of the deposit paid.
If cancelled with 21 to 60 day notice, the booking deposit paid will be forfeited unless the hire is resold.
If cancelled with less than 21 day notice, full booking amount will be forfeited unless the hire is resold.
Cancellations within 7 days of arrival will forfeit the total amount.
Where the hirer takes the whole of property discount option a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit is non-refundable.
All Cancellations are subject to a $100 administration fee. The exception to this cancellation fee is where the guest chooses the Non-refundable discount rate.
In the event of Emma’s Cottage reselling the total of cancelled accommodation the client will receive 100% refund, less the administration fee. Whilst all attempts will be made to resell your room, if unsold the hirer will remain liable for the costs of your total accommodation booking.
Note: Please ensure that a Conditions of Hire form is returned to Emma’s Cottage Vineyard prior to check-in. We cannot permit guests to enter the cottage without Emma’s Cottage Vineyard having received these details. If other members of your party are the first to arrive and request access to the cottage they will be requested to complete this form and provide their credit card details for surety where the form has not been returned to Emma’s Cottage Vineyard.
